Ringneck Parakeet

After his escape from aviaries in London Ring-necked Parakeet now big wild colonies were formed. The bird now number hundreds in these colonies and is spreading in the south-east England. Ring-necks are very nice and do a lot of noise during the flight, when they are feeding stations, bird feeders and bird houses in the garden is large, like a bird "exotic" that will feed. But what affect it will have on our native bird life. Ihave seen no change in diet, and other birds on the side of them. Only time will tell.
